Dr. Bessie Babits, an equine veterinarian, has been riding horses before she could walk. She has been professionally training horses for clients since the age of 13 and began riding dressage over 15 years ago. Classical riding and PRE horses have always been a passion, if not an obsession. Having trained horses of different breeds and disciplines, it was not hard for her to fall in love with the expressive, willing, noble Spanish Horse.
Dr. Babits says, "After riding a Spanish Horse, you will never want to ride another type of horse!" She was instructed and schooled in the early years by a classical and academic dressage riding, and has since studied and practiced the teachings of Nuno Oliveira and Hank Young. She endeavors to study the works of many great classical masters and their teachigns, particularly those that pertain to the training of Spanish Horses.
